This information is for members only; please do not share your ID and password with non-members. Names and contact information are provided to assist members in collaborating on society projects and in genealogical research. The use of this information for commercial, political, personal, or religious purposes is strictly forbidden. It would show a lack of respect for the privacy of our members and would reduce their willingness to share contact data. Any violation will be considered a serious offense and will have consequences.

Just as you would not share your private family conversations or your family financial matters with the general public, please do not share documents only provided to Members with non-members. In an effort to keep our members well informed, we are exceptionally open with this data within our membership. However, it is not intended for public dissemination.

How to Use the Members Only Section

There are several links to features and publication that are provided to members after login and appear under the Members tab located in the drop-down menu at the top of each page

Profile - This area is where you can change your login name and password, contact information, access the Membership List, and all other pertinent information.

Surname Research - The purpose of Surname Research allows people who are researching the same surnames to connect and share research. Members are allowed to send emails to other members and share knowledge with each other.

Footprints Quarterly Journal -Copies of current and all previous years of Footprints can be read and downloaded.

Newsletter- Archives - Download previous newsletters

Member's Meeting Minutes - A detailed description of the minutes of each monthly Member's Meetings. Available for downloading.

FWGS Books - Dowload PDF versions of prevously published books and publications

Exchange Publications - FWGS exchanges Footprints for quarterly journals of other genealogical societies across the United States. The journals that are exchanged digitally are included in this link. FWGS exchanges print copies with genealogical societies and they can be accessed at the Fort Worth History Center.
